In turn, the province’s restaurateurs saw a dramatic drop in rates from $2.16 to $1.80.

This victory comes after years of CRFA lobbying against the province’s average workers’ compensation assessment rates, which were the highest in the country. CRFA continues to push for legislative changes to further reduce rates.
