(Jul. 31/13) Restaurants in Quebec are now allowed to re-cork unfinished bottles of wine they sell to customers. In the past, they could only re-cork bottles brought in by customers as bring-your-own-wine. With this change, customers can leave with the unfinished bottle provided it is correctly sealed. This victory follows lobbying by CRFA and the industry to streamline the rules and regulations on alcohol permits.
