The B.C. government has mailed out new Alcohol Sense material for mandatory posting in your business. These materials encourage the responsible sale, service and consumption of liquor.
What you need to do
Licensees and liquor retailers must replace their current Alcohol Sense material with at least one of the new posters or tent cards, by Feb. 1. You should display the material in a prominent place until further notice.
Making the materials more restaurant-friendly
Restaurants Canada sits on the Mandatory Display Advisory Committee, along with other industry representatives, the Ministry of Health, LCLB, LDB, and Centre for Addictions Research of B.C. Together we worked to improve how this material looks and feels, and make it more suitable for posting.
