B.C. liquor vendors receiving updated alcohol sense materials

Published March 29, 2018

B.C.’s Liquor Control and Licensing Branch (LCLB) is distributing updated alcohol sense materials to all provincial liquor licensees.

Each establishment will receive two posters and two tent cards that must be displayed in prominent locations. At least one poster and one tent card must be on display by May 1.

The materials and their messaging differ depending on which liquor vendor is displaying them.

The categories are:

On-premise consumption establishments
Retail stores and other licensed establishments
B.C. liquor stores

The materials were developed in consultation with B.C.’s Mandatory Display Advisory Committee, which is comprised of representatives from Restaurants Canada and various health organizations and government ministries.
