The panellists provided valuable insight and strategy ideas for restaurateurs and operators in Ontario. They offered ways to prepare for and adjust to the drastic changes Bill 148 will bring to the province’s foodservice industry over the next two years.
After a 45 minute presentation, the panel answered questions from the business community during a real-time Q&A session to shed more light on the impact Bill 148 will have on Ontario’s foodservice industry. Questions were raised on a number of topics, including new rules and regulations about personal emergency leave, public holiday pay and employee tipping.
