(Jan. 29/14) The liquor licensing changes announced in British Columbia last month are the biggest the province has seen in 50 years – but CRFA wants more for our members.

CRFA wrote (PDF) to Premier Christy Clark and thanked her for following most of our licensing recommendations. We also offered to work with Minister Anton and the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch to implement these changes.

However, we noted the cost of liquor remains a concern for our members. CRFA will keep advocating for a new flat-tax liquor markup system and licensee wholesale pricing.
