(Feb. 26/13) A win for members!
New Brunswick licensees no longer need certified declarations for liquor licence renewals. This change saves licensees time and money they would otherwise spend on certifying renewals through a lawyer or notary.
This is the first concrete initiative to result from review of the Liquor Control Act. The Government of New Brunswick is still overhauling the Act, but allowed this initiative to proceed because it required no legislative or regulatory changes.
CRFA has long called for liquor reform in New Brunswick, and has been working closely with government to simplify the liquor regulatory process for our members.
