TORONTO – The Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association is proud to offer a new program to help restaurants reduce their impact on the environment and improve their bottom line. CRFA Conserve is a new online tool specially designed to help restaurants learn about sustainability best practices for the foodservice industry.

The program features tips and over 60 how-to videos by experts that teach Canadian restaurant operators how to reduce their environmental footprint. Conserve will give restaurateurs the tools they need to reduce their energy and water use and cut down on waste. By using the best practices on the Conserve site, restaurateurs can save money. Operators can design their own personalized programs and create a checklist specifically for their needs.

The Conserve program is free to CRFA members who sign up in March. Members can register for the program in the member services pavilion at the CRFA Show March 3-5 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto. Those who can’t make it to Toronto can email membership@restaurantscanada.orgto sign up for free.
