(Oct. 30/13) To help our members handle the expense of New Brunswick’s provincial drug plan, CRFA is pushing for cost reductions in other areas.
In a meeting with Minister of Health Hugh Flemming earlier this month, CRFA reiterated the high costs of this program for our members. We discussed strategies to offset this expense, such as a minimum wage freeze and the introduction of tip and training differentials.
We also learned the proposed provincial drug plan is a key part of government’s re-election strategy. Minister Flemming confirmed he plans to proceed with the plan.
