(Feb. 9/17) Are you in B.C.’s Lower Mainland? If so, WorkBC can help you find qualified candidates with the skills and flexible schedules suitable for various roles in our industry. WorkBC can also provide support for both employers and job candidates to ensure a smooth transition into employment, as well as post-employment support. Support includes:

  • commuting support for candidates for the first six months of employment;
  • opportunities for a wage subsidy for up to six months of the initial employment period (an average of 50% reimbursement to the employer);
  • flexible eligibility for placements, including part time and temporary positions; and
  • continued access to a WorkBC case manager for candidates with part-time or temporary employment until they get full-time employment (if needed).
