From locally sourced ingredients, efficient recycling, elimination of problematic plastics, food waste reduction, and energy-saving upgrades, foodservice operators are embedding sustainability best practices throughout their operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Governments at all levels across Canada are introducing plastic packaging regulations that target many of the essential items operators use to preserve and package food. To assist restaurants in complying with bans on Single-Use Plastics (SUPs), Restaurants Canada\u2019s created the following resources:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul
