Nova Scotia’s Leader of the Official Opposition Stephen McNeil addresses restaurateurs’ concerns and questions at a CRFA event.

(Jul. 31/13) As we approach Nova Scotia’s provincial election, CRFA is putting restaurant industry issues front and centre with political leaders. To this end, CRFA and a delegation of restaurateurs hosted the Leader of the Official Opposition Stephen McNeil on July 26. We highlighted the important role our industry plays in building the economic and social fabric of the province. Restaurateurs pressed Mr. McNeil on a number of critical foodservice issues including beverage alcohol, minimum wage, taxation, power rates and labour shortage.
