Restaurants Canada accepted an invitation to join an eight person panel of liquor stakeholders, chaired by the Attorney General’s Liquor Policy Advisor Mark Hicken, to make a number of recommendations within the Panel’s Terms of Reference to improve B.C.’s liquor laws and distribution system.
The Panel met for four days in March and listened to provincial liquor stakeholder presentations and reviewed written submissions and discussed a number of liquor policy recommendations that could improve B.C.’s liquor laws and distribution system for a wide range of stakeholders.
The Panel will meet again in April to finalize its recommendations to government.
