WCB Nova Scotia is changing to serve you better

Published October 23, 2019

The Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia is modernizing how it does business to provide better service and to support return to work and injury prevention.

As announced in the spring of 2019, the WCB’s business transformation is providing better tools and approaches and is enabling more online services for workers and employers in order to reduce red tape and move away from time-consuming paper-based processes.

More information on this modernization effort can be found at wcb.ns.ca/changing-to-serve-you-better.

New MyAccount Employer Portal

MyAccount offers a fully digital clearance process, which replaces the need for paper-based clearance letters. Hiring employers will search for contractors and confirm their clearance status in MyAccount. Learn more about this tool and what’s changing for employers at wcb.ns.ca/whats-changing-for-employers.
