Restaurants Canada and the Coalition of BC Businesses plan to meet with B.C. Labour Minister Harry Bains in the coming weeks to provide a summary of industry recommendations before new amendments to the legislation are introduced.

In anticipation of these planned changes, the British Columbia Law Institute carried out the Employment Standards Reform Project, which included a public consultation process, and produced a final report outlining a set of recommendations.
