Restaurants Canada is pleased to announce our new Director, Membership Development and Engagement, Christopher Barry!
Christopher joins Restaurants Canada after spending the last 10 years with Tourism Toronto as Business Development Director. Christopher is a highly motivated professional who thrives on the development and management of people, products and services. He is experienced in international trade and media program/event activations.

Christopher has developed and executed events that promote Toronto, including supporting industry/client initiatives and associated trade, media, consumer and diversity audience communications. He was a team leader for Toronto World Pride 2014 bid, international promotion and event execution. He is on the Advisory Board of Winterlicious and Summerlicious, and is a Board Member of the Yonge Bloor Bay Business Association.
Christopher has foodservice management experience with both McDonald’s and Gloucester Square Inns. He is a graduate of Hotel Management from George Brown College, and has completed advanced management courses with McDonald’s and Disney.
