From Feb. 25 – 27 approximately 20,000 industry professionals including owners, operators, restaurateurs, vendors, innovators and educators gathered at Toronto’s Enercare Centre to share new technologies, exchange ideas and discuss the future of Canada’s foodservice industry.
Ahmed D. Hussen, federal Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship kicked off the show with an inspiring speech about the vital and long-lasting relationship between new Canadians and our country’s foodservice industry.
Once the show opened, attendees were able to hear from fascinating speakers, enjoy eye-opening demonstrations, interactive stages and engaging competitions, as well as networking events and experiential dinners. The Canadian Press captured the spirit and excitement of the event and the importance of technology in its coverage.
Labour reforms, Ontario’s minimum wage increase and technology were top of mind for many, and these topics were addressed in seminars with new ideas, strategies and important industry facts to help operators adapt and adjust.
We were thrilled by the positive feedback from exhibitors and attendees alike, and look forward to building on the fantastic success for next year!
