Have your say in reducing small business red tape

(Nov. 25/14) The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is inviting Restaurants Canada members to comment on the second phase of the government’s red tape reduction initiative. Members with less than 500 employees are encouraged to complete a survey to help identify ways to streamline the entire tax process.

Note: Members can answer only those questions that apply to their business. The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete. Survey deadline is Dec. 12, 2014.

About the red tape reduction initiative
The federal government launched the Red Tape Reduction Commission in 2011 to reduce the burden of regulatory requirements on Canadian enterprises, especially small- and medium-sized businesses. The first phase of consultation with Restaurants Canada members identified irritants experienced by small businesses when dealing with the government.
