(Oct. 9/15) You can now buy fish directly from harvesters in Newfoundland and Labrador thanks to a change in regulations that permits the direct selling of fish.

To do this, you’ll need a restricted buyer’s licence which lets you buy up to 300 pounds per species per week directly from harvesters. In return, you’ll need to submit weekly reports on the quantity of fish you buy.
