Newfoundland restaurant featured in TV show hosted by Anthony Bourdain

Publié mai 11, 2018

Chef, author and TV host Anthony Bourdain is known for his persona as a culinary bad boy, however, he made plenty of friends in Newfoundland recently when filming an episode of his hit TV show Parts Unknown.

According to restaurateur (and Restaurants Canada board member) Jeremy Bonia, Bourdain “was great. We basically…trapped him in the middle of Newfoundland, so he had to talk and hang out.” Bonia spent time with Bourdain and his film crew last fall during the filming of the popular CNN travel show Parts Unknown. Each episode features Bourdain exploring an area’s food and culture with a mix of locals and famous faces.

Parts Unknown airs on CNN on Sunday nights and viewers can catch this episode on Sunday, May 13 at 9 p.m. EST.
