(April 27/18) The government of Nova Scotia has changed their Labour Standards Act regulations to clarify that July 1st will always be recognized as the Canada holiday under employment standards.  Previously if July 1st fell on a Sunday, employers were obliged to recognize July 2nd as the Canada Day holiday.  This change brings the Nova Scotia regulations in line with all other provinces.
