(Sept. 22/16) The Changing Workplaces Review panel was appointed by the Ontario government last year to study today’s workplaces and how they have changed. They are looking into potential updates to the Employment Standards Act and the Labour Relations Act. Depending on the recommendations, employees may be forced to unionize without a vote, and by sector rather than workplace.

After a lengthy delay, the government has released the panel’s findings in the Interim Report from the Changing Workplaces Review. The full report and links to associated studies can be accessed at:https://www.labour.gov.on.ca/english/about/workplace/index.php
