Ontario minimum wage: Now is the time to make your voice heard. Attend a local hearing.

Published June 15, 2017

The Ontario government is going across the province to showcase its massive increase to the minimum wage and other labour changes. This is your chance to tell Premier Kathleen Wynne how these changes will affect you.

Our industry is made up of small, independent business owners who hire and train high school students, newcomers to Ontario, and others looking for a first start in the labour market. We are the number one source of first jobs.

This government needs to hear from you! Mark the dates in your calendar and come to the hearing nearest you.

Week 1, July 10 to 14: Thunder Bay, North Bay, Ottawa, Kingston, Windsor-Essex;

Week 2, July 17 to 21: London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Niagara, Hamilton, and Toronto.
