(Jan. 26/17) The Changing Workplaces Review continues to create uncertainty for the foodservice industry as special advisors work on their final report.

Restaurants Canada is urging politicians and government officials to make sure any changes to the Employment Standards Act or the Labour Relations Act help businesses create good first-time jobs for Ontario’s youth. (Canada’s restaurant industry employs one in five youth between the ages of 15 and 24.)

The final report will be tabled in late March. The government’s response is expected in June.
