Restaurants Canada has joined forces with industry allies to send an open letter calling for an immediate moratorium on commercial tenant evictions in Newfoundland and Labrador.
It is now past June 1 and pressure is once again mounting for small and medium-sized businesses to make their rent payments.
Restaurants Canada has joined forces with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business and the Retail Council of Canada to call for temporary eviction protection for commercial tenants in Newfoundland and Labrador who were in good standing with their landlords prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
