(Jun. 12/13) CRFA is pushing New Brunswick to use P.E.I.’s newly announced “catastrophic” drug plan as a model for its own.

P.E.I.’s new plan helps people facing high costs for prescription drugs to treat devastating illnesses. Unlike New Brunswick’s proposed plan, this program only covers drug costs when a family’s cost reaches a certain percentage of its income. The program will be funded by government and not impose new costs on employers.
