The restaurant industry is a huge employer in Canada, and the number one source of first-time jobs. More than 30 cents of every dollar spent at a restaurant goes directly to payroll costs – and that means payroll taxes have a much bigger impact on our industry than most others. We work for fairness and accountability when it comes to the payroll taxes paid by our members and their employees.
