Effective immediately, restaurants with a beer off-sale endorsement can fill customers’ growlers with craft beer. No new equipment is required – you can use your existing taps for this service. If you have four or fewer taps overall, at least one must include Saskatchewan-made beer, and if you have more than four taps, two must be devoted to Saskatchewan-made beer.

See the growler FAQ sheet issued by the SLGA.

Restaurants Canada took action to improve Canada’s provincial liquor systems when we issued the Raise the Bar liquor report card last fall. The report card graded each of the provinces on their bar- and restaurant-friendliness. With the help of this report card, we are continuing to push for better pricing, selection and distribution for you.
