By Chris Elliott, Senior Economist (Dec. 10/14) Aside from a few snowstorms in some parts of the country, it doesn’t feel like a bleak winter – yet Canadian optimism appears to be going into hibernation. According to the Conference Board of Canada, consumer confidence slipped once again in November. The index has been down for six of the past seven months, and is at its lowest level since January 2014.
