A chance visit by a new customer has resulted in a business boom for a Lethbridge restaurant. John McMillan, owner of Whitbie’s Fish and Chips, had been struggling with declining sales due to a poor location and expensive marketing.

After striking up a conversation with John, new customer Colin Ross decided to spread the word to his friends of Facebook. After the post was shared thousands of times, John was flooded with customers and has hired another chef.
