Restaurants Canada Statement on Canada Post Strike

National

Restaurants Canada is deeply concerned about the nationwide strike launched by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. This escalation, following last week’s flyer delivery disruptions, is creating significant challenges for Canadians and restaurant operators who rely on Canada Post for communication and marketing.

At a time when affordability pressures are already high, this strike adds unnecessary strain—impacting not only restaurants but also Canadians working in retail and other sectors.

Restaurants Canada urges all parties—the union, Canada Post, and the federal government—to act quickly to resolve this issue. Canadians and businesses cannot afford continued disruption.
