Alberta
General Minimum Wage: $15.00/hour
Student Minimum Wage: $13.00/hour
Effective as of June 26, 2019.
British Columbia
General Minimum Wage: $14.60/hour
Liquor Server Minimum Wage: $13.95/hour
Effective as of June 1, 2020. Both the general minimum wage and liquor server wage will increase to $15.20/hour on June 1, 2021, effectively eliminating the liquor server wage.
Manitoba
General Minimum Wage: $11.90/hour
Effective as of October 1, 2020.
New Brunswick
General Minimum Wage: $11.70/hour
Effective as of April 1, 2020.
Newfoundland and Labrador
General Minimum Wage: $12.15/hour
Effective as of Oct. 1, 2020. On April 1, 2021, the minimum wage will increase based on the National Consumer Price Index at that time, based on the established formula. In addition, the rate will be increased by 25 cents. On Oct. 1, 2021, the minimum wage will increase by 25 cents.
Northwest Territories
General Minimum Wage: $13.46/hour
Effective as of April 1, 2018.
Nova Scotia
General Minimum Wage: $12.55/hour
Effective as of April 1, 2020. As of April 1, 2021, the minimum wage rate employers must pay employees is increasing to $12.95/hour.

Prince Edward Island
General Minimum Wage: $12.85/hour
Effective as of April 1, 2020. As of April 1, 2021, the minimum wage rate employers must pay employees is increasing to $13/hour.
Quebec
General Minimum Wage: $13.10/hour
Tipped Minimum Wage: $10.45/hour
Effective as of May 1, 2020. As of May 1, 2021, the general minimum wage rate employers must pay employees is increasing to $13.50/hour and the minimum wage rate employers must pay tipped employees is increasing to $10.80/hour.
Saskatchewan
General Minimum Wage: $11.45/hour
Effective as of Oct. 1, 2020.
Yukon
General Minimum Wage: $13.71
Effective as of April 1, 2020. As of April 1, 2021, the minimum wage rate employers must pay employees is increasing to $13.85/hour.
