Open letter to Premier King, Minister Compton and Minister MacKay calling for commercial tenant protections

Restaurants Canada has joined forces with industry allies to send an open letter calling for an immediate moratorium on commercial tenant evictions on Prince Edward Island.

It is now June 1 and pressure is once again mounting for small and medium-sized businesses to make their rent payments.

Restaurants Canada has joined forces with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business and the Retail Council of Canada to call for temporary eviction protection for commercial tenants on Prince Edward Island who were in good standing with their landlords prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
