  • Commercial foodservice sales growth forecast to slow from 5.2% in 2018 to 4.2% in 2019. Total sales to top $75B, a record amount.
  • Consumer spending is expected to moderate in 2019 and 2020 due to weaker consumer confidence, volatile equity markets and higher interest rates.
  • Growth projected to slow across all foodservice segments. The leading categories will be caterers and QSRs with rates of 4.6% and 4.5% respectively.
