Training opportunity for entry level cooks on Prince Edward Island

The Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island, in partnership with Holland College and the Department of Education and Lifelong Learning are offering a training opportunity for entry level cooks.

The course starts on Tuesday, Feb. 24 and includes:

  • Eight weeks of instruction
  • A five-week paid internship
  • Instruction on flavourings/seasonings, hot/cold main courses, and related topics

Upon completion, students will be able to exhibit the basic skills needed to work in a kitchen as an Entry Level Cook.

An information session will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. at Upstreet Craft Brewing (41 Allen St., Charlottetown).
